President El-Sisi Conveys Message to Palestinian President on Solidarity Int. Day with Palestinians

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated today that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi conveyed a message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. President El-Sisi expressed Egypt’s steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing crises, particularly the humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli aggression.

President El-Sisi emphasized that this tragedy highlights the international community’s failure to stop the bloodshed of the Palestinian people. He stressed the importance of remembering the Palestinian people’s struggle for their legitimate rights.

President El-Sisi also called for addressing the root causes of the conflict by reviving the two-state solution path in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. He emphasized the need for concerted international efforts to end the occupation and establish an independent Palestinian State along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The President further affirmed Egypt’s keenness to support the resilience of the Palestinian people, rejecting the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and the displacement of Palestinians.
President El-Sisi called for the establishment of a culture of peace and cooperation to achieve regional stability.
