Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Mr. Philip Christiani, Chairman of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, on the sidelines of the state visit to Denmark.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said Mr. Christiani expressed his pride in meeting with the President, emphasizing his company’s willingness to cooperate with Egypt and enhance its investments in the fields of clean and sustainable energy, given the promising opportunities available in the Egyptian market.
President El-Sisi expressed appreciation for the company’s interest in expanding its investment base in Egypt.
The President also reaffirmed that Egypt is keen on expanding its clean energy and green hydrogen production, including through the green ammonia project.
President El-Sisi also highlighted Egypt’s keenness to attract more foreign direct investment in general, particularly in the clean energy sector, and emphasized Egypt’s support for foreign companies operating in the country.
The meeting touched on opportunities for enhancing the company’s investments in Egypt and potential projects that could be implemented as part of efforts to further develop cooperation between Egypt and the company.
