Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, within an official high-level visit by the French President to Egypt.
The two presidents are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting, followed by an expanded session of talks between the delegations of the two countries. Thereafter, a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed, followed by a joint press conference between Presidents El-Sisi and Macron.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said that following the Egyptian-French summit, a tripartite Egyptian-Jordanian-French summit will be held with the participation of President El-Sisi, King of Jordan H.M. King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, and French President Emmanuel Macron. The tripartite summit aims to review developments in regional situations, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
