The State Ministry of Information has closely monitored reports circulated by some media outlets and on social media claiming that a foreign vessel docked at Abu Qir Port en route to an Israeli port, carrying a shipment of steel used in the manufacture of weapons and ammunition.

State officials have confirmed that these reports are entirely false and baseless rumors. They emphasized that all loading and unloading operations at Egyptian ports are conducted in accordance with international maritime agreements and are subject to a rigorous system of real-time monitoring and tracking.
