Diaa Rashwan: Egypt settled hostages, prisoners swap crisis after faltering for technical reasons

Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS), Diaa Rashwan said that, after the negotiations were faltered today between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, Egypt succeeded in settling the crisis of exchanging the hostages in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian prisoners, which was faltered for technical reasons. He added that the second stage of the deal will be completed today as scheduled.

Rashwan stressed that the Red Crescent started to move to receive 13 Israeli hostages in Gaza and 7 nationals of other countries, adding that Egypt is following up the release of 39 Palestinian prisoners from the Israeli prisons.
