Diaa Rashwan: Egypt Regrets Violation of Humanitarian Truce in Gaza Strip

Chairman of the State Information Service Diaa Rashwan, said that Egypt deeply regrets violation of the temporary humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip, stressing that Egypt is currently exerting the utmost efforts with partners, in order to return to the truce as soon as possible, and to extend it for other periods, which allows it to deal with the dangerous humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip. Rashwan added that the issue had reached the point of disaster. Efforts seek to stop the war against the people of the Gaza Strip, or by providing them with rapid and intensive humanitarian and relief aid.

On the other hand, Rashwan completely denied what was circulated on some social media pages about the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip reaching the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing. Rashwan called on everyone, in such current critical circumstances, to adhere to what is issued by the competent Egyptian official authorities regarding any new development.
