President El-Sisi Heads to Madrid for an Official Visit to Spain

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Spanish capital, Madrid, for an official visit to the Kingdom of Spain. The visit underscores an ongoing commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations, cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennway, said that during his official visit, the President will meet with his Majesty the King of Spain, the Prime Minister and representatives of major Spanish companies. The President will also attend an economic event with the Spanish business community and companies.

The visit will also include the signing of an agreement elevating Egyptian-Spanish relations to the level of strategic partnership, in addition to the signing of a multitude of Memoranda of Understanding in various areas of cooperation.
