Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from the Prime Minister of The Netherlands, Rob Jetten.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said President El-Sisi congratulated the Dutch prime minister on assuming his post and forming the government. The President underlined that Egypt holds in high esteem in the relations between the two countries and stressed its commitment to strengthening them in all fields.
The Dutch prime minister expressed his appreciation for the President and expressed his country’s interest to develop relations with Egypt, both bilaterally and within the framework of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union. He noted Egypt’s role in combating illegal migration and its efforts to maintain peace and stability within its regional surrounding both in the Middle East and Africa.
