Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy said the meeting focused on the latest regional and international developments, as well as Egypt’s efforts to implement the President’s directives in this regard.
President El-Sisi emphasized the vital need to sustain and intensify cooperation with friendly nations to resolve regional crises, avoid escalation, and seek to address the current situation through negotiations and peaceful means, thereby enhancing regional and international security and stability. The President underscored Egypt’s categorical rejection of any aggression against Arab states, reaffirming Egypt’s steadfast position based on protecting regional stability and safeguarding the sovereignty of its nations.
Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdelatty, reviewed the ministry’s efforts to provide care for Egyptians abroad, noting its commitment to further improving and developing consular services through the expansion of digital transformation and the launch of new initiatives in cooperation with state institutions to meet the needs of Egyptians abroad and ensure the expeditious and efficient delivery of services.
In this regard, President El-Sisi gave directives to provide the utmost care for Egyptian nationals abroad and to strengthen communication channels with Egyptian expatriate communities.
